Introducing NORDLYS system by Candela!

Nordlys is the Danish name for the spectacular phenomenon “Northern Lights”.  The Northern Lights is caused by electrically charged particles from the sun entering the earth’s atmosphere and can be seen in the Northern hemisphere, displaying a magnificent curtain of light in various colors.

Nordlys is the name of the IPL and laser medical system from Candela which offers treatments for pigmented lesion, sun damaged skin, textural irregularities, skin rejuvenation, acne, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea.

Only Nordlys offers the newest and most advance technology of IPL with a dual filter system.  The dual filter system allows me to treat you more effectively and with a lower risk of complication and minimal discomfort.

With the Nordlys I can also provide non-ablative fractional laser resurfacing.  Due the versatility of this device, I can focus on superficial and deep skin resurfacing with less downtime and less risk of complication as compared to ablative devices/treatments.

Treatments with this device result in microthermal injuries being created in the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin which in turn stimulate new collagen formation without vaporizing tissue.  This treatment is more aggressive than standard Microneedling for collagen stimulation but still may require 3 treatments for full effect and to reduce downtime associated with treatment.

Some of the procedures require topical numbing agents to be applied while others do not so at this time scheduling of these procedures cannot be done online.  I apologize for any inconvenience.  Please call us to schedule at 509-860-6481.
