As appropriate, we prescribe GLP-1 injectable medications: Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.

GLP-1's mimic the hormone that the body naturally releases after eating. This reduces your appetite and helps you feel full faster.

Semaglutide is an injectable medication that treats chronic weight management by helping you "feel full" and and manage insulin and blood sugar. Semaglutide is the active substance in Ozempic, a popular brand name medication.

Tirzepatide is an injectable medication that treats chronic weight management by reducing hunger, helping you "feel full" longer and and managing insulin and blood sugar. Tirzepatide is the active substance in Mounjaro, a popular brand name medication.

When used in conjunction with diet and exercise, GLP-1 medications may cause significant weight loss — and a reduced risk of cancer, diabetes and heart disease — in people who are obese or overweight. (Source).

Our Nurse Practitioner will evaluate whether medication is appropriate for you. GLP-1's are typically prescribed to overweight or obese individuals for whom diet and exercise alone are not effective.

We prescribe in medications 4-week increments, so you can take it one step at a time.

It's up to you and your provider to decide how long you should stay on GLP-1 medications to achieve and maintain sustainable weight loss. GLP-1 receptor agonists are meant to be taken long-term, but that will look different for each individual.

All consultations and visits are complimentary.

If prescribed, 4 weeks of injections cost $350 for Semaglutide and $550 for Tirzepatide up to 1.0 mg and $750 for 1.25-1.50 mg.

You would pay monthly upon receiving the medication.
